MUSEE DES BEAUX ARTS – Accessible Museography and Exhibit Design

CALAIS, FRANCE

In the 19th Century Gallery, visually impaired visitors can touch the Bronze Collection which includes masterpieces by Auguste Rodin.

CRA’s renovated gallery features an accessible museography and exhibit design to accommodate wheelchairs and non sighted visitors.

Statue pedestals have adapted heights, the cartels present large text with Braille, and along the walls Raynes Rails with Braille and audio provide directions and commentaries.
